Reggae Icon Frankie Paul died on Thursday, May 18th 2017, night at the University Hospital of West Indies, his sister confirmed.
His sister, Trish Clarke, confirmed via Facebook that the artist was fighting kidney issues for a while, had been getting dialysis at the hospital two days a week. In 2006, fans found out that he had one of his foot amputated, when he showed up on stage for one of his rare appearances in Jamaica. Ms Clarke revealed that family, friends were helping with the hospital bills that raked up to nearly 1.5 million. Unfortunately, with time, it got worst.
The star was only 52 years old. May he RIP.
